Request for sponsorships for needy students in Madi-2, Kaski
area.
The TTTA has received a request for sponsorship for the children
who could not continue with their education, due to the parents not
being able to pay the new charges.
We have received very welcome sponsorship offers from people in
Debden and Wimbish, however, not enough to cover all the
children who need sponsoring. How to choose which child is left
out will have to be an awful task for the School in Tang Ting.
The loss of the prospect of an education, which will be their only
hope of a future and escape from outright poverty, will be
devastating for those excluded.
The TTTA will be fundraising as much as possible to try to help all
of the initial 12 but our welfare fund cannot commit to doing so at
present. The cost of a child for the year is £120 and a disabled
child £180. The TTTA would be more than happy to accept
monthly payments for a child, or small donations to our welfare
fund which would include this new project.
We also have collecting boxes that some of you may be able to
take to work or clubs to help raise funds in other ways. If you can

We are also looking for a few Unicorns AKA volunteers. If you can
help in any way: pricing stock for sale at local events; working with
Ben Griffin our website guru to help in keep information up to date;
helping raise funds; becoming a Trustee (which is not onerous and
does provide wine and nibbles on the rare Committee meetings!),
you would be very very welcome.
